Synopsis: FastStone Capture is a powerful, flexible and intuitive screen-capture utility. It allows you to capture anything on the screen including windows, objects, full screen, rectangle regions, freehand-selected regions and scrolling windows/web pages. It has innovative features such as a floating Capture Panel, hotkeys, resizing, cropping, text annotation, printing, e-mailing, screen magnifier and many more.

Note: FastStone Capture appeared to have gone payware starting from V5.4. Since the license agreement does not prohibit redistribution, I have made the last freeware version (V5.3) available for direct download.

How to extract: Download the "Portable" ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch the program by double-clicking on FSCapture.exe.

Universal Viewer Free V5.0.0

Synopsis: Universal Viewer Free (formally ATViewer) is a file viewer that supports many different formats like text, binary, rtf, images, videos, audio, etc. One nice feature is that it can open large text files very quickly without eating memory. One downside is that there is no editing of these files, but useful if you have to go through large log files.

How to extract: Download the portable ZIP package for the free version and extract to a folder of your choice. Create a blank file Viewer.ini in the same folder. Launch Viewer.exe.

Artweaver V1.0

Synopsis: Artweaver is an image editor that tries to simulate natural brush tools eg. chalk, charcoal, pencils. It supports common image formats such as BMP, GIF, JPEG, PCX, TGA, TIFF, PNG and PSD, in addition to its own format (AWD). Image editing functions includes selection, gradient, crop, fill, transparency, layers, effects (sharpen, blur, emboss, mosaic etc.).

How to extract: Download the installer and extract to a folder of your choice. The application folders are located in the {app} subfolder. Create a file called Artweaver.ini in that folder with the content:
